Google Search Console Setup
Submit your sitemap, verify ownership, and monitor how your site appears in Google.
1. Add Your Property
Go to search.google.com/search-console. Sign in with your Google account. Click Add property and enter your site URL (e.g. https://www.roboticscenter.ai or https://test.roboticscenter.ai).
2. Verify Ownership
Choose a verification method:
- HTML tag — Add a meta tag to your homepage
<head>. We can add this for you once you have the tag from Google. - DNS — Add a TXT record to your domain. Best for root domain verification.
- HTML file — Upload a file to your site root. Works with static hosting.
3. Submit Sitemap
After verification, go to Sitemaps in the left menu. Enter:
https://www.roboticscenter.ai/sitemap.xml
Click Submit. Google will start crawling your pages.
4. Monitor Performance
Use the Performance report to see:
- Which queries bring traffic
- Which pages get clicks
- Average position in search results
Use Coverage to check indexing status and fix any errors.
5. Request Indexing (Optional)
For new or updated pages, use URL Inspection → enter the URL → Request indexing to speed up discovery.
